This summer we are replacing the decking and railing on trestles 19 and 20
and doing some sill repair work on trestle 19.  The project is well
underway thanks to a grant from the Virginia Department of Conservation and
Recreation and volunteer help from the Virginia Creeper Trail Club. We also
have 2 interns from the Student Conservation Association that will spend the summer on the trail doing bike patrol and trail maintenance.
